Who is responsible
The data controller is Where's Jeff Ltd, Jersey-registered, number 166061. Questions about your data: help@devonstoveenquiries.co.uk.
What the form collects
- What you're after (new stove, replacement, chimney or flue, not sure)
- The property's postcode, type of home, and timing
- Anything you type in the notes
- Your name, phone number and email
- Which page you sent it from, and when
Please leave out health details and information about other people unless the job needs them.
Why we have it, and the legal basis
You asked us to pass the enquiry to an installer, and that is what we do. Under UK GDPR we rely on legitimate interests: yours, in getting a quote, and ours, in running the service and keeping a record of what went where. You may object at any time; anything already passed on stays passed on, but we stop using your details and ask the installer to do the same.
Who it goes to
One installer, a local business on the HETAS register. Once they have it, they handle it under their own privacy notice. The site and form also run on third-party services: Cloudflare, which hosts the site and handles and stores the form. They act on our instructions; where data is held outside the UK, the safeguards UK law requires apply. We don't sell your details or put you on a mailing list.
How long we keep it
12 months from the enquiry, then it is deleted.
Your rights
Ask for a copy, have it corrected or deleted, object, or ask us to restrict it: write to help@devonstoveenquiries.co.uk. Complaints go to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd rather put it right first.
